Baptism

At Journey, we believe water baptism is a celebration of your decision to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just as the symbols of the wedding and wedding ring are a declaration of a marriage covenant, water baptism is the outward declaration of the covenant you’ve made with God. As your church, we would like to stand with you as you publicly declare you have made the decision to surrender your life to the Lord.

Child Dedications 

Child dedications are a ceremony in which parents make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God’s Word and God’s ways (1 Samuel 1:11, 26–28).

Our desire is to create an event that is personal and memorable. During this ceremony, a pastor will pray over you and your child as they are dedicated to God and committed to be raised in a christian, bible believing home. Child dedications happen every 1st Sunday of the month. Sign up below! 

DNA

Our DNA course is a two week class that teaches the heart and core beliefs of our house. If this is your church home and you would like to get more involved in the life of our church then this is the place for you! DNA happens every first and second Sunday of the month. Please take a minute and sign up below. 

Life Groups 

Life Groups are how we connect and do life outside of the walls of our church. Life Groups are designed for our communities to be marked by hospitality, warmth, and inclusivity. Community is a place where people can find family and belonging.

The Well Women’s Ministry

We believe that women, especially when united, are a powerful force with great impact in our world. When we lay aside our differences and focus on the things that unite us, anything with God is possible.

Through this ministry, you will find opportunities to be in community with other women, grow in your understanding of the Bible, and be encouraged as you navigate the journey of life in your devotion to Jesus.

In John 4 Jesus demonstrated how important women are to the Kingdom of God as He broke social and religious barriers by taking the time to meet with and talk to the Samaritan woman at the well. There, he minister to her deepest needs. Come to The Well and be refreshed, renewed, and strengthened as we do life together.

Making a difference Globally

We are excited to partner with Jacob and Jessi Schwartfeger of Overland Missions!

Jacob and Jessi both minster in Zambia, Africa to different chiefdoms and surrounding tribes.

Our partnership helps equip missionaries to minister and travel across the globe, sharing the Gospel of Jesus.

“And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.’” Mark 16:15 (NLT).

Jake Schweratfeger has ministered in Zambia, Africa for the past 14 years. With his wife, Jessi, and kids Sunda (12), Kya (8) and Noah (5), the Schwertfegers have committed their lives to seeing Jesus Christ receive the reward of His sufferings in neglected areas of the World.  Jake is currently the International Head of Operations for Overland Missions where he engages in pioneering the Gospel to remote locations around the globe. The Schwertfegers have fallen in love with the rural people of Africa and consider it an honor to be able to serve with Overland Missions at the Rapid 14 Base and call Zambia, Africa their home.
